Painting with Sip & Gogh (Eastwood, Philippines)
My friend Iris and I went to try out some painting session with Sip & Gogh located at Le Grand 3 in Eastwood, Quezon City. Please note that we are not an artist and neither we know how to paint. We want to try painting and do something new on a Friday night (aside from drinking!). Sip & Gogh charges P1,000 per head for their Open Session. It includes all paintings materials, an instructor to guide and complimentary snacks and drinks (Wine, juice, coffee or tea). For every Open Session, they have four different slots per day. We were supposed to take the 5:30 pm slot, however, the traffic was super bad that day, and we had to catch the 8:30 pm session instead.
We were greeted nicely at the reception, and we quickly pick which paintings we want to paint. The instructor prepared our paint colours according to which pictures we have chosen, and we're guided promptly by our instructor on which area to paint first.
It was fun to do the painting after for so long finally. My last touch on paintings was back in high school in 2005. It was quite relaxing, and I never knew art could be so much fun. I was sipping wine while twitching my fingers with a brush. This is something I look forward to doing during my free time. I think I just found my new hobby!
